Now busy with subtitles for the film パーマネント野ばら (Perma-nent Nobara). Surprised no English subs available as director's last film was a critic and fan favorite, some of the actors reprise their roles, and both films are based on manga. That said, the subject matter is less controversial, less pulp-Japanese, which points to the lack of overseas hullabaloo.
Subs going up on asiatorrents site as and when they are done.
Forgot to say, much of the film in a dialect of what could be Southern Shikoku. Everything ends with an expressive "キ" or "ケ", "けど" becomes "けんど", and they all say "ウチ" for me or we. Translation should take probably three days, coding the subs about twice as long as that....
subtitle translation = tiring to the power of tiresome.
